Acer has shown at a trade show in Taiwan a new netbook Aspire One Dual boot: the user can choose whether to go with the traditional XP or if you start the computer in a couple of seconds and to have been browsers, mail and a few basic utilities, all obviously based on Android operating system.
Android is born to be an operating system platform, but when its spread on netbooks was stopped by the absence of a store application.
Use as an operating system to start immediately but could be a good help its spread.
From the hardware point of view the Aspire One is the classic AOD255 Netbook: Atom 1.6, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB hard drive and 3 cell battery, expandable to 6.
